Then it seems like he betrays her and she won’t talk to him and is upset for weeks. In Stuck with You, Sadie meets Erik and goes out with him and home with him the same day. I love the STEM career and the ecological mindset of these three friends. We still had a past and present timeline, back and forth here. I felt more comfortable with the development now. Now I guess I am more settled in the world, and with the three friends Mara, Hannah and Sadie. The first book, Under One Roof, was enjoyable but I thought it should be longer as I wanted more. I did see the pages for this one listed as 312 in one place, which is a full book in my mind. The audio is about half the length of a regular audio. The audios are releasing before the ebooks by 3 months or so. I’m continuing with the STEMinist Novellas. Maybe, possibly, even burned bridges can still be crossed…. But while she refuses to acknowledge the siren call of Erik’s steely forearms or the way his voice softens when he offers her his sweater, Sadie can’t help but wonder if there might be more layers to her cold-hearted nemesis than meet the eye. Not even the most sophisticated of Sadie’s superstitious rituals could have predicted such a disastrous reunion. Erik can apologize all he wants, but to quote her rebel leader-she’d just as soon kiss a Wookiee. However, as a woman of STEM she also understands that variables can change, and when you are stuck for hours in a tiny New York elevator with the man who broke your heart, you earn the right to burn that brawny, blond bridge to the ground. Logically, Sadie knows that civil engineers are supposed to build bridges.
